About the Journal

Aims and Scope

Archives of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (APGHN) is the official journal issued by the Indonesian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (Perhimpunan Gastroenterologi, Hepatologi, dan Nutrisi Anak Indonesia). APGHN is issued four times in a year and published in English. Previously published in print form as Jurnal Gastrohepatologi Anak Indonesia (JGAI), APGHN is committed to promote scientific development in child’s health through high-quality publication and provides recent updates on pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition for health practitioners and scholars. APGHN accepts original articles, case reports, review articles, medical illustrations and clinical practice guidelines, all of which have been peer-reviewed carefully by our selected experts.

Publication Frequency

Archives of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (APGHN) is published every three months.

Open Access Policy

Archives of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (APGHN) is an open access journal. This means that our articles are free to access on the internet to all users immediately upon publication. Our users are allowed permission to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of our articles.

All works are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.

Copyright

The authors who publish in this journal agree to the following requirements:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License that allows  others to remix, adapt, build upon the work non-commercially with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.

Peer Review Process

The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by an editor. It will be evaluated whether it is suitable with our scope and aim or has major methodological flaws. Every submitted manuscript which passes this step will be checked to identify any plagiarism (checked by Turnitin software) before being reviewed by reviewers. At least two reviewers are appointed from other institutions (national or international). This journal uses double-blind review. The manuscript will be sent to the reviewer anonymously. Reviewers' comment are also sent anonymously to corresponding author to take the necessary actions and responses. The decision of the revised manuscript will be then evaluated during the editorial board meeting, the final decision will be sent to the corresponding author.

Archiving

The publisher is committed to the permanent availability and preservation of scholarly research, and ensures accessibility. The articles published in this journal are archived in the Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network (PKP PN) which is composed of 9 preservation nodes located around the world. Author Fees

This journal is completely free of charge, which means that we do not charge any submission or publication fee. 

Repository Policy

Archives of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition permits authors to deposit all versions of their work in an institutional or other repository. This policy sets out the ways in which authors can self-archive versions of their work on their own web pages, on institutional webpages, and in another repository. Submitted version, accepted version and published version are all allowed to be deposited at any time. 
All of published articles in this journal are also deposited in Portal Garuda repository (https://garuda.kemdikbud.go.id/journal/view/26289).
